Bayside Jewelry is located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and features the designs of local artists from North Idaho. We offer handmade one-of-a-kind jewelry including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, rings, and bridal sets. You may shop online or host an e party for your family and friends. Our jewelers use quality gemstones, crystals, freshwater pearls, glass beads, silver, and goldfil to fashion their unique pieces.
Mary Gayle Young is active in the art community in Sandpoint, Idaho. Her Earth Wear jewelry features incredible gemstone designs with sterling silver, and her Eco Jewelry is crafted from recycled metals. She participates every August in the Artist's Studio Tour in Sandpoint, ID. Her beautiful gemstone pieces are featured at the Art Works in Sandpoint, ID, in Schweitzer Gallery at the Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort, and in Jackson Hole, WY. Mary Gayle's Earth Wear is also displayed in Coeur d’Alene, ID at City Locks Hair Design.
Fran Bahr of Blossom Mountain Designs is another featured artist and jeweler at Bayside Jewelry. She has had her artwork featured in the juried art show Art on the Green in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Fran also has had her Naughty Babies art series featured in Post Falls, ID. Working with copper, which is hammered by hand and with semi-precious gemstones, she handcrafts beautiful pieces. She and her sister Harriet Lee, a sculptor, plan to collaborate extensively on jewelry this upcoming year. Bayside Jewelry is looking forward to seeing their new jewelry designs. Fran and Harriet's jewelry may also be seen in person at City Locks Hair Design in Coeur d’Alene, ID.
Susie Pace of Pace Designs creates gorgeous one-of-a-kind jewelry with precious metal clay (silver) and dichroic glass. Very colorful and contemporary, her jewelry is made with the wearer in mind. Susie also participates in Sandpoint, Idaho’s Artist's Studio Tour. Her jewelry is currently being showcased in the Schweitzer Gallery at the Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort, and in downtown Sandpoint, ID at Art Works. Many of her original designs may also be seen and purchased at City Locks Hair Design in Coeur d’Alene, ID.
Who's Behind Bayside Jewelry?
Bayside Jewelry was created by Diane Pickette, who was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and has lived in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho with her husband David for the past twenty-five years.
Having been in a creative environment for twenty-eight years as a hairstylist, Diane enjoyed creating women's accessories and selling jewelry made by friends and acquaintances at her North Idaho salon (City Locks Hair Design). This endeavor eventually evolved into Bayside Jewelry, where she is able to display and share the treasures of North Idaho jewelers with a much larger audience.
